An Alabama Hunting License is required prior to registration. The application period for the drawing is September 1-29, 2026. The drawing will be held on September 30, 2026. Selected applicants must complete the Mandatory Training Course and purchase the Selected Sandhill Crane Harvest Permit prior to accepting their hunter status.
